DE WARENNE ACADEMY SIXTH FORM - SMALL BUT PERFECTLY FORMED!

Sixth form students and staff at De Warenne Academy are celebrating another excellent set of results today. De Warenne is part of the Doncaster Collegiate Sixth Form, a partnership of five academies, and as such had only eleven students based at the academy, studying a range of technical and vocational qualifications.

Their results have enabled them to progress to a wide range of higher education, apprenticeship and employment opportunities. Students have secured places on degree courses such as Psychology & Counselling, Social work and Pharmacy.

Notable successes include Curtis Critchley who achieved a Merit overall in Computer Science and Distinction, Distinction in Games Design, and Georgia Allen who achieved a Merit in Applied Science and Distinction, Distinction in Health and Social Care. Both will begin university in September studying Games Design and Nursing respectively.

Principal, Anna Rooney said “We are delighted with everything our students have achieved this year. This is as a direct result of their hard work, determination and commitment as well as the support given to them by staff and parents. We will miss them very much and wish them every future success”.
